Sometimes it’s good to push the boundaries, and today’s blog post is definitely doing that.
After the success of The Greatest Showman in cinemas earlier this year, I was excited to be given the opportunity to review Cirque du Vulgar – a night of risqué live entertainment, featuring stunning strip-tease routines, daredevil stunts and filthy comedy.
This may well be my favourite review that I have written to date. Whilst trying to remain professional and fairly “PG” for my blog, finding the words to describe this show has proven difficult.
P. T. Barnum would definitely hang his head in shame – but I LOVED IT!

All set under the famous Big Top, this adult show blends modern circus acts with burlesque and insane stunts, to create a night of unforgettable live entertainment.
I knew the show would be good, but I never expected it to be as great as it was. The variety of acts kept me on the edge of my seat – this was by far the sexiest circus in town!
Staff were incredibly friendly and I cannot fault the service we received. My friends and I were treated like VIP’s and given complementary drinks throughout the night. The show was honestly full of ‘laugh out loud’ moments and I came away with a real smile on my face.
Here is a list of the running order which was presented to me before the show:

In terms of disabled access, the site based at Pool Market was ideal. Parking was nearby and there wasn’t a step in sight which is always a relief. I was a bit nervous at first as there were a few gravel chippings on the floor outside, but my chair managed to just about plough through.
In comparison to other events such as Circus Starr, where they have Mobiloo facilities on site, this couldn’t compare. However there was an accessible portaloo outside, which I appreciate is better than nothing!
Check out my gallery below, where I’ve decided to share some of my favourite photos/videos of the night. I know this is what you’ve all been waiting for – ya filthy animals!
I’m not going to lie, at times I felt like a bit of pervert sat there with my camera, but hey, it’s all in the name of “work purposes” right?!

Again, a massive thank you to the team at Cirque du Vulgar for hooking me up with tickets. If you’d like to see the show for yourself, I highly recommend it!
