I was recently invited to Flambards, one’s of Cornwall’s most popular tourist attractions. Each year, Flambards host a variety of themed Firework “Spectaculars”.
A few weeks prior to the event, I was invited down to check out their venue and explore the grounds on a day where it was a bit quieter.
I decided to vlog the event, as I haven’t visited this attraction for a good 10 – 15 years!
If you’re regular reader of my posts, then you’ll know that my humour is a bit tongue-in-cheek. It may seem like I’m taking the absolute piss in this video, but that’s just me…
Yes there are some access issues at Flambards, but let’s be real, it’s a theme park. I knew full well I wasn’t going to be able to get on any “rides” as such… although I would have loved to have seen them move with the times a little bit.
Stick me in a Teacup, anything will do!

On a more serious note, the indoor attractions definitely made up for it. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Victorian village, and if you’re into History, then this is definitely the place for you.
The fireworks themselves were awesome, and the facilities on site (such as the disabled parking and toilets) were more than acceptable in my opinion.

On numerous occasions staff were friendly and helpful – by escorting us to where we needed to be, and assisting us with carrying our food in the restaurant.
Overall, memories were made and I had fun. That’s all that really matters!
Special thanks to my sister Rose for helping me film the above video, as well as my friend Mark for keeping me company at the fireworks.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know your thoughts…
Are you guys enjoying the more recent vlog footage? I’m getting a bit of a reputation for my ‘bloopers’ haha.
