My 26th

26 eyyy, how the hell did that happen?!

It’s a scary thought to think that I’m only 4 years away from 30…

I legit still feel 12.

I’d just like to start off by saying a massive thank you to everyone for all the birthday love this year. So many lovely messages, cards and prezzies – I was truly spoilt once again.

For this post, I thought I’d give you a little update as to what I’ve been up to this week, in the lead up to my birthday shenanigans.

My favourite time of year, when the sun is shining and the bubbles are out. Nothing makes me more happy than a chilled night in my tub!

I spent so long in here the other day, even the safety settings turned themselves off – whoops!

What better way to celebrate your birthday than a night at the sexiest circus in town.

For the second year running, my friends and I were lucky enough to be invited back to this jaw-dropping adults-only circus.

My review last year was a huge success – so I was excited to see what this year’s tour had to offer! (you can catch up on last year’s post by clicking here)

I can honestly say that the show was even better second time round. The acts seemed more refined and the level of comedy to raunchiness was fantastic.

The new tour date venue at The Royal Cornwall Showground was also brilliantly accessible.

My birthday fell on a Sunday this year, so I made sure I booked myself the day off work. We had a slow start to the morning, with lots of puppy love and naughty treats.

I was truly spoilt in the food department this year, as mum had made a selection of my home favourites – from rocky road, to sausage rolls and caramel slice.

We then headed for lunch at Trennick Mill in Malpas. I chose the roast chicken which was delish!

After lunch, we ended up at Perranporth beach. The weather was perfect and it was so nice to relax in the sun, enjoy the sea views and feel the sand between my toes.

I’m working on a special beach blog post as we speak, so keep an eye out for that one over the next few weeks.

Before we knew it, the majority of the day had gone and it was time to head back home (for another cheeky sausage roll)

Again, the evening was lovely and chilled – lots of visitors and birthday messages to catch up on.

Oh, is that more cake I see?

Thanks again for all the love this year and to all those who made such a special effort. I really do appreciate you.

Time for me to go and detox with an apple or something.

Speak soon!
