Michael McIntyre Live - ★★★★★

Updated: Sep 24, 2019

If you've been following my blog for a while now, you'll know I love a good live event. Whether it's music or comedy, there's something about a live show that excites me.

Michael McIntyre is definitely one of my favourite comedians, so I was buzzing when he announced his world tour was coming back to Plymouth this year.

This is actually the 3rd time I've seen him perform live. Back in 2015, a lady in the audience fell down the stairs and broke her leg. I too was poorly and ended up being sick in my shoe... #classy

This time around, things were much less dramatic and I was able to sit back and enjoy the show. We had a great view and our seats were nice and close to the stage - which is always a bonus!

McIntyre's stories were hilarious as always. He had the crowd in stitches for the whole 90 minutes and it was genuinely a great night.

Pushing my luck, I even wrote to his management company last week, in the hope of being able to meet him. Unfortunately it didn't happen this time, but no doubt i'll try again next time he ventures down South!

I definitely rate Plymouth Pavilions as a venue. I've been a regular customer of theirs over the years and have had no problems in regards to their disabled access.

Other comedians I've seen perform live in the past include: Lee Evans, Jimmy Carr, Alan Carr and Miranda Hart. I also had tickets for Catherine Tate and Jack Whitehall last year, but had to miss the shows due to illness.

This year, I am looking forward to seeing Chris Ramsey and Sarah Millican for the first time.

If you get chance to see Michael McIntyre perform at any of his remaining tour dates, then i'd definitely recommend it!
