Judging the BBC "Make a Difference" Awards!!

I'm so excited to share the news that I am going to be a judge at this years "Make a Difference" Awards, in association with BBC Radio Cornwall.

AHHHH!!!

HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!

To be honest, I have no idea either... all I know is that I am living my best Simon Cowell fantasy! What an honour it is to be involved in such a special occasion.

The aim of the "Make a Difference" awards is recognise local heroes, by highlighting their achievements and contributions towards our community.

Whether it's an individual person, or a local organisation, these awards will give us chance to show our appreciation for the people who make life that little bit better.

There are 8 awards up for grabs, with each category listed below:

For your chance to nominate somebody, please click the link here. But be quick, because the vote will close on Friday 29th April 2022 at 11pm!

The award ceremony will be held at Truro Cathedral this September and I am so excited to help pick a winner!!

Make A Difference’ was set up at the start of the first pandemic lockdown - and to date - over 8 Million people have interacted across all 39 local BBC radio stations.

I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who continues to support my blog and recent media work. Without your interactions, none of these opportunities would be possible, so I really do appreciate it.

I am far from being anyone of importance, so it's a real pleasure to be involved in this process and potentially make someone's night!

Speak soon,

Ross x
