I'm not gonna lie, I've never liked the sound of my own voice...
Whilst my radio experience has definitely helped me with confidence, there has always been something about podcasts that terrify me. In the past I have been asked to feature on several different shows, and 9 times out of 10 I always say no.
However, this year I have been determined to push myself out of my comfort zone. So when SMA UK recently reached out and asked me to host an episode of their podcast, I said yes!
My inner control freak was very happy, as I had free reign over which subject I'd like to discuss and which guest to invite.
I chose to discuss disability employment, with a focus on blogging and social media - as this is something I've always had a passion for. It was also an honour to share the screen with my good friend Kerry Thompson, who is a successful blogger/campaigner in her own right.
