Nominated for a National Diversity Award!!

I've never been described as a "role model" in my life... so this is a real turn-up for the books!!

Last week, I received an email to say that I had very kindly been nominated as a "Positive Role Model for Disability" at the National Diversity Awards - in association with ITV news.

Madness!

The NDA website describes the event as a way of recognising "people who inspire other individuals through their work, through their commitment to helping others, through their infectious personalities and through adversity."

With that being said, I'm the kinda guy who avoids eye contact with humans, but will gladly speak to your dog - so this has all come as a bit of a shock.

Ross reclined back in his wheelchair, arms out, whilst say on the clif top - surrounded by blue seas and sky

However, all jokes aside I am low-key excited at the thought of going to a black-tie event - should I even make the shortlist! I hear there's also a free meal involved, so ya know...

Now here comes the beggy bit... PLEASE VOTE FOR ME!

No pressure, but my mantlepiece is looking a bit bare.

Go onnnn, you know you want to! I have linked the details below, should you wish to give it a cheeky click.

As always, thanks again for all the love and support on my recent blog posts. I never expected a single nomination, let alone TWO!

So whoever you are, thank you. But also... what were you thinking?!

My fellow MDBloggersCrew are also all up for awards, so please show them some love too:
