Ross's Recommendations - October 2020

Happy October folks! I can't believe we're into another month already - where has that time gone?

As I bring "The Isolation Diaries" to a close, I am looking forward to sharing some more of my monthly favourites with you all.

As always, please feel free to comment any of your recommendations as well!

As someone who has been in 'shielding' since March, I for one would have been lost without my Netflix / Amazon Prime subscriptions.

Upon a recommendation from a friend, I recently started watching Money Heist on Netflix.

The story follows a group of criminal masterminds who plan to pull off the biggest heist in history - by printing billions of euros inside the Royal Mint of Spain. There are currently 4 seasons on Netflix, with a fifth and final season due in 2021.

I LOVE a good crime drama and this one in particular definitely keeps you hooked! The only downside is that this show is originally a Spanish production, so the voiceovers have been 'dubbed' to English. Sometimes the speech seems slightly out of sync, however once you get over the initial adjustment, it really isn't an issue!

I'm that sad that I've even bought myself one of the Money Heist masks for Halloween this year. If you haven't watched it yet... I definitely recommend you do!

Music is one of my biggest passions, so I love it when I come across new artists.

Upon another recommendation from a friend, I was recently introduced to an "alternative rockband" called LANY. Since downloading their album, I've discovered so many new songs and haven't been able to stop listening since!

Here is their latest hit from the album "mama's boy":

Whilst it's not technically a book, this month I am recommending you have a read of PosAbility Magazine.

Why? Because yours truly has a double-page feature, woop woop!!

PosAbility Magazine is one of the UK's leading disability & lifestyle publications, so it really is an honour to be included.

Packed with personal stories, products and activity reviews, you can subscribe to the magazine online for only £15 a year.

As always, thank you guys for all your ongoing support with my blog. I know my content hasn't been the most exciting recently (damn you Corona!) but I hope to be back sharing new adventures soon!

Take care,

Ross x
