Things I’m Looking Forward To…

adjectivea result of a sudden impulse or inclination without premeditation.

I’ve been called many things over the years… but spontaneous is definitely not one of them.

I’m the kind of guy who likes to make plans, for his plans.

I’m annoyingly organised and I hate being late for things.

If you’re a regular reader of my blog, then you’ll know that I have quite an active social life. Don’t get me wrong, I love a lazy day here or there and I can be an anti-social bugger at times too…

But I need to have something in the diary to look forward to – whether it’s just a meal out with friends, or a trip away with my family – I find it really helps keep me going.

For example, this week I went to one of my favourite restaurants – Trevaskis Farm. Even though I was there on a separate “work” mission, I will always find time for the things that really matter in life… such as their dessert counter.

Why have only one piece of cake when you can have two?

This week, I also went to watch “One Night of Adele” at the Regal Theatre. Christina Rogers was incredible, and performed a fantastic tribute to one of my favourite artists.

Listening to live music will always do funny things to my stomach, but these songs in particular have such a special meaning to me.

So with that in mind, I thought I would try and keep the positivity going, by sharing some of the other little things that I’m looking forward to over the next few months…

GAVALARRR! Oh my christ, Christmas Day could not come any sooner!! The return of Gavin & Stacey has literally been a 2019 highlight for me, and the episode hasn’t even aired yet.

I love all things festive, so I cannot wait for the big day. This program brings an instant smile to my face, so it doesn’t really get much better than that. OH Ness, i’ve missed you!

As some of you may know, earlier on in the year, I attended an open day casting for a new ITV drama… and ya boy only went and got the part!

Ok… so when I say ‘part’, we’re talking about a verrrrrry small background appearance, but hell – I was so excited! I had so much fun filming on the day, and I can’t wait to share more with you nearer the time.

As far as I know, the series is due to air early 2020, so I’ll keep you posted! No phones were allowed on set, but here is a sneaky shot I managed to get behind the scenes #rebel

Now this may sound really random, but I love my head being played with. Yes, you heard that right.

Firstly, get your mind out the gutter…

Secondly, who doesn’t love a good massage?! I recently bought my friend a spa treatment for his birthday, with the aim of going with him on the day… clever, huh?!

I can’t wait to recline back, relax and get a good head massage!

I don’t have any major holiday’s planned for next year, but I do have a few weekend trips in the pipeline. As much as I would love to jet off for some fun in the sun… I’m a ‘dog dad’ now and man’s got responsibilities.

However, I do have a really exciting press trip booked in calendar for next month, which of course I will be blogging/vlogging for you all.

I also have a friend who I would love to visit “up North” (basically anywhere outside of Cornwall). So who knows, maybe Lannon will go on tour!

These are just a few of the exciting things I’m looking forward to over the next few months.

In order to keep this ‘positivity train’ going, I’ve tagged some of my favourite bloggers below. No matter how big or small, what events are you guys most looking forward to?
