Ross's Recommendations - November 2020

Hey guys!

As another month flies by, I am back with some new recommendations. As always, please feel free to share any of your favourites with me as well. After last month's post, several of you got in touch with me to discuss various suggestions which I absolutely loved.

Let me know what you think of my recent choices below!

There are very few blog posts of mine that don't involve food in some way or form - so let's get this one out of the way first!

I recently travelled to Plymouth to visit my sister and we ended up getting a Five Guys takeaway for lunch. It was honestly DELISH and I'm still thinking about it now.

Although the photo below doesn't really do it justice, I can confirm it was worth all the pennies and all the calories. I opted for a standard cheeseburger with BBQ sauce and green peppers (chips on the side too, obvs!)

As well as being super tasty, I was also really impressed with the Five Guys app when ordering. I love how quick and easy it was to use, and how you had the option to customise all burger toppings. In my case... DELETE THAT SALAD ASAP!

I recently downloaded a series on Sky Atlantic called 'The Undoing', as I had seen several people commenting about it online. By the end of the first episode I had both myself and my parents hooked, as we love a good crime / mystery drama.

Without giving too much of the plot away, the story follows a lady called Grace Fraser (Nicole Kidman) - a psychologist whose world falls apart when her husband, Jonathan (Hugh Grant), is linked to the death of a fellow parent at their children's school.

The series was full of twists and turns, with each character looking likely to be a suspect at some point. I love a good cliffhanger as well, so each episode kept me wanting more!

Black header labelled MUSIC - beside an image of some musical notes

Music has never been so important as it is right now. I was watching some throwback clips from Glastonbury on YouTube the other night and I never knew how much I missed going to live events. Even being in the crowds... I never thought I'd be saying that!

For this month's recommendation I thought I would share a song with you called 'Lonely Nights'.

I only recently discovered this song on TikTok, as it really hasn't blown up yet or got the credit it deserves. I love the lyrics and the chilled vibe that comes with it, so hopefully you guys do too!

For my final recommendation I wanted to share a disability-related product that I personally find really useful. If you've been a regular reader of my blog over the years, you will have seen me talk about the Keywing in one of my early-on posts.

I have been using this product for several years now and absolutely love it. Due to weakness in my hands I often struggle with poor grip, hence why I have found these key turners so helpful around the house.

The guys at Keywing recently reached out to me and asked if I would like to sample the latest update to their product - which of course I said yes! I then shared an image of this on my Instagram story and was amazed by the positive reaction it had.

It made me really happy to think I could recommend something beneficial to my followers, whilst also helping to promote a small business. Regardless of your age or ability, the Keywing is a handy little gadget to have.

I hope you guys are all doing ok and are starting to feel the Christmas spirit!

Speak soon,
